Hi Sue, This is one of your friends who shared the table with you that night. I laughed while reading your comments because thety are great and reminded me of a fun night out despite the food!!!!- Is follow up to post by sue.bavey ...
My two friends and I went for a meal at Kashmir on a Friday night without a reservation. We were told we would wait 20 -25 minutes so we waited. After half an hour we were told we would wait another 25 minutes. Eventually we were seated at around 10pm. My friend ordered Chicken Tikka Marsala and when it arrived it tasted like chicken floating in ketchup. She complained to our waiter and he told her 'Yes it does have ketchup in it that is how we make it'. She asked if there was anything he could do since she really didn't like the ketchup flavour and he said no - that was how they make it at Kashmir. She shared my meal so as not to go hungry. Then after an hour at our table the restaurant was beginning to empty out and the staff switched all the lights on very brightly and began stacking up the chairs on tables around us and one waiter started clearing his throat noisily, basically telling us to go home. I was very disappointed and embarrassed, as I had reccommended we went to Kashmir - never again!! -- 10/6/2004 5:15:51 PM
